We started 6 years ago as a way for two congregations, Emanuel Synagogue and Kol Haverim, to collaborate in a fun way to raise funds. As nice as that is, the feeling of community is just as rewarding. 3 years ago we were proud to add Beth El. Every year we are looking for ways to improve the tournament and this year is no different. You will notice a new dinner menu and, once again, a chance to win $10,000 in a putting contest.
This year, we are pleased to welcome back as guest host, Brad Drazen of Channel 30 news. Brad can be seen bright and early every weekday morning as the co-anchor of NBC Connecticut News Today. Brad is a strong supporter of the Jewish Community and welcomed the opportunity to help three area synagogues….and PLAY GOLF!

Emanuel Synagogue Brotherhood hosts CT Tour De Shuls

The 3rd Annual CT Tour de Shuls Bike/Run/Walk with routes from 5K
to 50 miles will once again start and end at our Emanuel Synagogue on
Sunday, June 24th. This is a wonderful community event in which we gather to
have fun and raise funds for the Tikvah Program at Camp Ramah. The Tikvah
Program at Camp Ramah in New England is one of the first summer programs
for Jewish children with special needs. Nearly 40 years old, the Tikvah Program
continues to grow and evolve as it strives to serve campers with a wide range of
special needs. Our CT Tour de Shuls program is organized by the CT Valley
Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC) of which Emanuel
Brotherhood is an integral part. Refreshments will be available to start the participants
on their way and everyone is invited to come from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. to
welcome the participants back and enjoy a light lunch and festivities. This will be a fun day for the entire family!
