Tashlich On Rosh Hashanah afternoon we go to a body of water to perform the Tashlich ceremony - to symbolically "cast away" our accumulated sins and transgressions and to purify ourselves as the New Year begins. To enact this "casting away" we toss a few bread crumbs into the water. As usual, we will have 2 locations for Tashlich: Simsbury - Simsbury Road and Route 10, near the oldest tree in Connecticut.
