6th Graders take 1st Graders on “Trip to Israel”
On March 13, 2011, Mrs. Fichman’s 6th Grade class took Mrs. Mehlman’s 1st Grade class on a “trip to Israel.” The 1st Graders showed their passports to the security guard before boarding the flight to Israel. Upon arrival, they experienced a series of activities prepared by the 6th Graders in which they learned, tasted and had fun exploring this ancient/modern land. Then they flew back home to tell their parents all about it.
