Choir at The Emanuel enhances our services on festivals, and also serves as a social, musical, and spiritual outlet for our members. Fern Cohen is our Assistant Director and Accompanist, and Ruth Weiner serves as coordinator.

Adult Choir, for ages 13 and above. Must be a lover of Jewish music! No auditions necessary; those wishing to join Kol Shirenu must meet with choir leadership to determine voice placement. Non Synagogue members are welcome.
Kol Shirenu Performances include: Hanukah songs at the Wadsworth Atheneum, High Holy Day Services, Shabbat Shira (The Sabbath of Song), The Sharon Barshay Music Service/Concert and Senior residences such as St. Mary’s Home and Hebrew Health Care.
