Adult Ed and Israel Committees will be hosting an Israeli Film Festival this summer. The movies to be screened are suitable for adults and older teens.
The first film in the series will be “Of Dogs and Men” directed by Dani Rosenberg.
Of Dogs and Men (2023) is a thoughtful and quietly powerful Israeli docudrama that explores the aftermath of October 7. A tender journey unfolds in this sensitive drama that follows a teenage girl as she searches for her lost dog amidst a landscape marked by grief and destruction. Through her story, Israeli filmmaker Dani Rosenberg captures the raw emotions of loss, fear, and empathy.
