Funeral services will be on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 11:00 am in the Main Sanctuary at The Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford, with interment immediately following at The Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, in Wethersfield. Following interment, shiva will be held on Sunday at the Luftglas residence, 5 Hosmer Drive, West Hartford, until 5 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m., and on Monday and Tuesday, 1:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:30-9:00 p.m., with minyan at 7:00 p.m. each night. Roman was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Sharon Barshay. Memorial donations may be made to the Sharon Barshay Music Fund at The Emanuel Synagogue.
