Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel at The Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford, CT, followed by interment at The Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery in Wethersfield. Following interment, the family will return to The Emanuel Synagogue for a meal of consolation and to receive shiva visitors. The family will say Kaddish at the Sunday minyan at 4:15 p.m. Shiva will continue Monday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with minyan at 7:30 p.m., and Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., with minyan at 7:30 p.m., both days at the home of Pam and Ken Simon, 20 Tumblebrook Lane, West Hartford. Memorial donations may be made to The Emanuel Synagogue or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Husband Richard Levitt; children, Carol and David; grandchildren, Gabriel, Rosie, Cole and Phoebe; twin sister Leah and sister Judith; and their entire family on the passing of Esther R. Levitt, November 26, 2017/9 Kislev 5778. Funeral services will be held in The Emanuel Synagogue Chapel, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford, CT, on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at The Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery in Wethersfield. Following interment, a meal of consolation for family and friends will be held back at The Emanuel Synagogue. Shiva will be observed on Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at the home of Judith Cohen, 14 West Lane, Apt. A, Bloomfield, CT, 06002, with minyan each evening at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Emanuel Synagogue.
