Emanuel Synagogue member Gary Cohen will present The Mathematics of Photography.
“For a few years, I taught a two-hour course called “Basic Photography” at the West Hartford Senior Center. Many of my “students” came into the course thinking, “I know how to take pictures”, just turn on the camera, aim it, and push the button. I realized what I was actually teaching was the “mathematics of photography.” If you have a simple understanding of what and why things happen before and after you push that button, you’ll have the foundation to take better photographs.”
