Early Childhood

Emanuel Synagogue has a vibrant, active community of families with young children who are welcome at all synagogue activities and services.

Early Childhood Center

Our Early Childhood Center provides a play-space with games, puppet theater, dress-up area, baby area,  reading corner, and more. Open to children 5 and under with their caregiver.

Use our Early Childhood Center for your playgroup or come on Sunday mornings to meet other parents and kids. The coffee is on us!

Tot Shabbat

Sing, pray, dance, read stories and play Shabbat-friendly games. This interactive religious service for children ages 5 and under with caregiver, meets in our Early Childhood Center. The program concludes in the Main Sanctuary with Adon Olam on the bima followed by kiddush with the congregation. Tot Shabbat is free and open to all, as part of our monthly Programming for Kids and Families on Shabbat.

Bagels, Blocks & Beyond

Through music, art, and stories, pre-school aged children and their caregivers learn together about Jewish holidays and values. Bagels, Blocks and Beyond meets about one Sunday morning a month in our Early Childhood Center. It is free and open to the community.
