When

Oct 3, 2024
3:30 pm

Tashlich means “Throwing” or “Casting.” In this cathartic ceremony, we cast away our misdeeds and bad habits and renew our souls. This act prepares us to do better and to turn to good and healthy ways of living and treating each other. The bread crumbs we bring carry our transgressions away, helping us to clean the slate and make a fresh start. Tashlich is an annual favorite for some; if you have never tried it, consider joining one of our Tashlich ceremonies. All are welcome!

Two ceremonies on October 3* the first Day of Rosh Hashanah
*PLEASE NOTE CORRECT DATE IS OCT. 3, NOT OCT. 4:

  • 3:30 pm – Simsbury Town Forest Park
  • 4:30 pm – West Hartford Trout Brook Drive
