We welcome you to The Emanuel! We are a diverse, egalitarian congregation – West Hartford’s mid-sized Conservative synagogue.
We are delighted that you are interested in The Emanuel. Here you will find a down-to-earth ambience and an air of acceptance that is a welcome respite from the social pressures often associated with suburban life. We have a strong professional team, and opportunities for congregant participation and leadership. Families with children with special needs have found The Emanuel a haven of welcome and understanding.
Come sample services, classes, or events to experience firsthand the warmth, spirit, and depth of our community. We’d love to meet you!
We invite you to learn more about our congregation, visit us, join us for Shabbat services, and contact us with any questions you might have. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
